Chelsea loanee Ross Barkley is set to return to the club after his loan spell at Aston Villa comes to an end.
Barkley has been with Villa all season, and has produced fantastic performances for Dean Smith's side.
However, a hamstring problem in November caused him to miss eight games, and he has struggled to reach his early season heights.
The 27-year-old is admired at Villa, but the price tag set by Chelsea means a permanent move seems unlikely.
According to Sports Illustrated, Barkley is set to return to Chelsea in the summer.
The arrival of Thomas Tuchel as manager over Frank Lampard is a negative for Barkley.
Lampard admired Barkley, and it is unclear if Tuchel sees the attacking midfielder as a first team option.
