Bari president Vincenzo Matarrese has opened takeover talks with investors.

Back in Serie A, Bari are seeking fresh investment as Matarrese's son, Salvatore, explained: "It's true we are selling the club.

"We are willing to pass it on to someone else. We are currently negotiating with an investor, who seems serious and reliable.

"Several times we announced that we want to sell and now that there is an offer we are happy to do it.

"In the next few days there will be more meetings. We want to sell the whole thing but we don't know whether they are interested in a partnership deal."
