Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele has defended his actions in the final days of his time with Borussia Dortmund.

Dembele went on strike from BVB training in order to force a move to Barca in the final week of the summer market. Barca returned to sign Dembele having missed out on him 12 months previous.

Asked if he regretted the controversy, he told Onze Mundial: "Yes and no, I had the impression that I would miss the fulfillment of my dream, which is why I acted the way I acted, and I still support that.

"What should I have done then? For the second time, to see a 'no' to Barcelona, that was impossible for me.

"I would like to know how people who criticize me would have behaved if they were in my position."
