Barcelona have joined the scramble for Valencia superkid Ferhat Cogalan.

Cogalan is regarded among the best young players inside Spanish football, turning 16 in June. At 15, Cogalan is a regular with Turkey U17 and has a contract with adidas.

Mundo Deportivo says Barca are eager to tempt the youngster away from Los Che. But they're not alone.

Manchester United are also in concrete talks with the player's camp, along with Bayern Munich. Both giants tabled lucrative deals to Cogalan's reps just last week.

But Barca are determined to clinch the teen's signature, having followed his progress since Andoni Zubizarreta was sports director.
