Barcelona president Joan Laporta has again stated new contract talks with Lionel Messi are on track.
This follows reports earlier in the week that the 34-year-old has agreed terms with Barcelona on a new five-year deal, but the Blaugrana must first see some big earners depart in order for LaLiga to accept Messi's renewal.
"Messi? The message is one of calm and patience. Sometimes you have to juggle. Everything is going well," Laporta said.
The Barcelona president stressed that the club are looking to find solutions to adhere to LaLiga's salary cap rules, as they currently cannot register any of their four signings - Eric Garcia, Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay and Emerson Royal - nor Messi, once he officially renews.
"As the summer progresses, we will be able to give good news. The club are working hard," Laporta noted.
