Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic insists he wants to stay.

Rakitic has insisted that he has no intention of leaving the club in the summer, despite the upcoming arrival of Frenkie de Jong from Ajax.

"I am in my best form and I want to stay at Barcelona," he said during the Mundo Deportivo awards ceremony on Monday.

Ernesto Valverde has constantly placed his confidence in Rakitic throughout the season as the 30-year-old midfielder has been a regular starter for the Blaugrana.
