Barcelona midfielder Alex Collado happy playing for Robert at Granada

Barcelona midfielder Alex Collado is eager to show his best for Granada this season.

Collado has joined Granada on-loan to the end of this campaign after the deal was rubberstamped by Barca this week.

He said, "I can bring personality, work and, from then on, on the pitch I play well between the lines, I can make the last pass and I have a good shot."

The move reunites Collado with former Barca assistant coach Robert Moreno.

He continued: "I have a good relationship with Robert, he is a very good person as well as a great coach. I have come here largely for he called me at the beginning of the preseason when I was going to Brugge, but I want to focus on the present, we had a conversation and he told me what he was looking for and the interest he had in me. Now I'm here and that's the important thing."

Collado was stuck in limbo over the first-half of the season as he wasn't registered by Barca at first team nor B team level.

He also stated: "It is a situation that I would not wish on any footballer, it has been a complicated year, it influences you a lot because what a player wants is that come the weekend to be able to show their performance there. It's been complicated, but I've seen the positive things, I've worked harder than before. Now I'm happy and wanting to show all my potential at Granada."
