Julian Araujo is happy with his move to Las Palmas.

The Mexico fullback has joined Las Palmas in a straight loan from Barcelona.

Araujo said: "I am very happy to be here, with great desire to start, it was worth arriving after weeks of talking, and I am grateful to Barcelona and my representatives for closing the agreement.

"Xavi recommended I come here as I will be able to grow.

"I'm a young player and I am here to learn and develop."
