Aleix Vidal insists he's never held a grudge against departing Barcelona coach Luis Enrique.

The fullback saw action late on in the Copa del Rey final triumph over Alaves and he was seen in deep conversation with Enrique at the final whistle.

Vidal recalled to Cadena Ser: "In the hug I said thank you very much for giving me minutes and the opportunity to play the final after the last year.

"I wished him good luck. I am not a spiteful person. I passed a difficult stage, although by my personality and as I am, I will overcome it.

But it was not easy: "I spent weeks, he did not call me, Sergi Roberto was injured, he put another one in instead of me."
