Barcelona are maintaining a watching brief on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's situation at Arsenal.
While the Blaugrana's priority remains Lautaro Martinez, the complicated negotiations with Inter Milan have encouraged Barça to keep the Aubameyang track active, reports Mundo Deportivo.
With Aubameyang's deal now having less than a year to run, Arsenal face having to cash in this summer - and for a much smaller fee than Inter are demanding for Lautaro.
For his part, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta remains hopeful of his captain signing a new contract.
"With Auba, I think I was quite clear on what I want. The faster we do it, for me personally, the better because the player will be more focused, more determined and calmer," stated Arteta on the weekend.
