Barcelona coaching staff have been impressed by Franck Kessie after a first week of preseason training.

Kessie arrived at Barca last week on a free transfer from AC Milan.

Sport says though its too early to draw any conclusions, the feeling among the coaching staff seems to be that they have made the right decision with the signing of Kessie. And not only because he has arrived for free and was a market opportunity.

"Its is a very good feeling. He has surprised very positively," coaching staff have said.

While there were no doubts about his physical strength, it was necessary to appraise him in handling of the ball and other technical aspects that may show the quality of a player.

And Kessie has a good touch. He doesn't go unnoticed in the 'rondos' or in the exercises in which he has to control balls.
