Barcelona coach Xavi says his players will give Real Betis a guard of honour this weekend.

Real Betis will play for the first time since winning last Saturday's Copa del Rey final against Valencia.

Xavi said, "For us the theme of the corridor is clear. It is a sign of respect and sportsmanship. Betis deserves it. For me you have to think about something else, it's respect and sportsmanship.

"I have spoken with the players, they were in agreement. There are no problems. The rest are controversies and history...

"We have a golden opportunity to secure the Champions League. We have a great opportunity to meet the minimum objectives of the club. We go with all the motivation. They come from winning the Copa and are confident. It will be difficult and we are prepared. We want the three points that certify the Champions for us."
