Barcelona coach Xavi clashed with Barbastro players at the end of yesterday's Copa del Rey win.

At one stage 3-0 ahead, Barca managed to scrape through to the next round with a final 3-2 victory.

At the end of the game, Xavi was surprised by the actions of several Barbastro players as the two teams exchanged handshakes.

Mundo Deportivo reports first, one of Barbastro's substitutes made a comment to him when they were making their way to the locker room that left the Barça coach baffled.

And then one of the starters, Crespo, shook his hand but finished off the gesture with a push that also surprised the visiting coach.

In his post-match presser, Xavi later insisted: "There is always talk. There are things that are discussed with the referees, without further ado. Now we have been talking with the coach and with the Barbastro players in the locker room.

"Do not look for tension where there is none."
