Barcelona coach Xavi was impressed by Girona for their draw.

Monday night's Catalan derby finished in a 0-0 stalemate.

On Girona coach Michel, Xavi said: "He is a very good coach. With Arnau inside in the first half he caused us problems. The summary of the game is that if we scored before half-time, it would have changed the story. We lacked effectiveness."
