Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has refused to discuss their interest in Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann.

Barca have publicly denied any interest in the forward, something which the former Athletic Club coach agreed with.

"[Griezmann] is a great player, but one who plays for another team," he confirmed.

"I have great respect for Atletico Madrid, too much respect to even talk about these things.

"We live in a world where speculation is constant, but that's all it is, I like the players I have."
