Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde was delighted with victory over Leganes.

Luis Suarez scored twice in the 3-0 win.

"Possibly the result says that we have dominated more than we did," Valverde said.

"Leganes had their chances but we attacked well and opened up the game more in the second half.

"It was a good feeling, we won and it was a difficult game.

"At times it was hard for us to play, they closed us down very well and had only conceded two goals in five games at home."

Barcelona were effective if not their usual selves, but Valverde attributes that to the quality of the opponent.

"It depends on each rival," he continued.

"We have been brilliant at times, but we had to know how to play here, on this pitch, in these circumstances, with a rival that squeezes every last drop of effort out of you."
