Barcelona sports chief Eric Abidal has urged Adrien Rabiot not to make a decision about his PSG future until the New Year.

Rabiot is currently baulking at discussing new terms with PSG as his contract runs down.

Sport says Abidal has told the midfielder to keep everything on-hold until January.

Off contract in June, Barca could secure Rabiot to a pre-contract from January 1, though an immediate deal cannot be ruled out given Rabiot can be registered for the Champions League.

PSG are offering Rabiot terms worth €7-8m-a-year.
