Barcelona captain Lionel Messi insists his relationship with Antoine Griezmann is rock solid.

There's been claims from Griezmann's end that he and Messi do not get along.

But the Argentine told Mundo Deportivo: "How's it going with Griezmann? We have a good relationship, the same as with all players. It's also the same outside the field.

"Obviously it was going to be complicated at the beginning, to get to know eachother, for the movements… He comes from a different game, he has to get used to our way of playing, he has to learn to play on the left, where it can be he is not the best, but currently, in the last games he played as an advanced striker, we have more opportunities to find eachother, we are closer.

"It was not complicated because it did not go between us, but it was because of the situations during the matches. We get along very well."
