Barcelona attacker Alexis Sanchez has explained why he wears the No9 shirt.

Sanchez also revealed his role model in an intimate interview.

"They told me the numbers that were available at Barça. As I am a great admirer of the Brazilian 'Phenomenon' Ronaldo, I wanted to wear the same number. He wore number 9 here, and was very successful, so I wanted to emulate him," he said.

Alexis added: "My mother. The only idol I have is my mother."
