Barry Bannan insists he's happy at Aston Villa.
Bannan has been at Villa from the age of 14 and admits that, even though he began his career as a Celtic fan, his loyalties have now switched to the Midlands club.
"I've been here for eight years now," he told the Birmingham Mail. "I was a boyhood fan of Celtic and I could have joined their academy, but when I heard that Villa were interested I wanted to test myself down here.
"If you compare Scottish football with the Premier League it's like night and day. Coming to Villa has given me the chance to test myself at the highest level.
"It's the best decision I could have made and after all this time here I'm now a Villa supporter as well. This has become my club."
