Leighton Baines could follow fellow defensive veteran Phil Jagielka out of Everton.

Jagielka yesterday announced he is leaving the club after 12 years.

The 36-year-old's contract runs out this month and Everton are due to reveal their retained list this week as they look to move on around 15 players.

The Daily Mail says Baines has been offered a one-year extension but is considering the possibility of moving to the US.

Everton are also due to release defender Ashley Williams who has interest from the MLS following his loan at Stoke City.
