Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez praised Ryan Babel after his second-half cameo in victory over West Ham.
Benitez has demanded more from Babel after the Dutchman touted himself to Ajax earlier this month, but was pleased with his winger yesterday.
He said: "I felt we were in control of the game. We were talking about it and after we could see that Dirk Kuyt was really tired. We knew we had to do it.
"Ryan was very good, his pace was crucial for us and I think that was the key."
