Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio insist they aren't dwelling on rejection from Corinthians midfielder Paulinho.
The Brazil international admits he turned down a lucrative offer to sign for Inter last month.
"There's no bitterness about the non-arrival of Paulinho, probably there were no grounds to close the deal but we are very pleased with the arrival of Mateo Kovacic, he has a lot of quality and we believe in him a lot," said Ausilio.
