Having grown up in Elche, Saul does plan on going back to his native city at some point in the future to help the club's development.
"I'd like to go there and give them stability," he said to Radio MARCA.
"To try to help with my experience and give peace of mind to the fans as coach, sporting director or president."
Saul went further and aimed a pointed comment at the club's current structure.
"Things are almost never done well at the club," he said.
"I hope someday someone who loves the club will do things well."
