Atletico Madrid president Cerezo remains upset with Barcelona over Griezmann deal

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo remains disappointed with Barcelona over their deal for Antoine Griezmann.

Barca paid the €120m clause to ferry Griezmann away from Atletico, with the Madrid giants believing the agreement was found before the buyout fell from the original €200m mark.

Cerezo said, "What do I think of the departure of Antoine Griezmann? He decided to play in another team and we really recently learned the identity of this team.

"He had thought about it, he did it. The only thing I wish for Griezmann is that where he plays, he will be treated as we have treated him here and will be loved in the way we have loved him here.

"Will Atlético receive more than €120m for Griezmann? I do not know, but it's all about Barcelona and us."
