Atletico Madrid have opened talks with Tottenham for Pierre Emile Hojbjerg.

The Dane has been made available by Spurs this summer as he doesn't fit into new manager Ange Postecoglou's playing system.

A return to former club Bayern Munich has been mooted.

However, TMWs says Atletico are also interested in the midfielder.

Atletico have kicked off negotiations with Spurs for Hojbjerg and are currently attempting to talk down their initial asking price.
