Atletico Madrid fullback Kieran Trippier is confident signing for Manchester United.
The Manchester Evening News says Bury-born Trippier, 30, has made arrangements to permanently relocate to Manchester and sources insist he is confident a transfer to United will materialise.
Trippier has entered the last year of his Atletico deal and the club is under pressure to sell the England international this summer in order to obtain a fee.
United coaches are unsatisfied with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's attacking output and Trippier, a more proactive full-back, assisted Luke Shaw's European Championship final opener against Italy.
Right-back Diogo Dalot has been told to report for pre-season training at United later this month despite interest from AC Milan.
