Real Madrid are also chasing the youngster, currently on-loan with Alaves.

However, AS says Barça's offer to Theo is of more interest to the player. The defender has a release clause of 24 million euros.

The same report, though, suggests that Real Madrid have a verbal agreement with Theo. Los Blancos would pay the 24 million and then offer a contract worth 35 million over five season: six million in 2017-18 and 2018-19, rising by one million each season until 2021-22.
