Atletico Madrid defender Cesar Azpilicueta is delighted for Barcelona whiz Lamine Yamal over his Spain call.
The 16 year-old Yamal is with Spain for the first time this week.
Azpilicueta said: “I debuted before he was born, I don't know if he is very young or I am very old.
“It's a pleasure to see the kids with that self-confidence, you can see that he has special things. I didn't have that self-confidence when I was 16.
“My advice to young people is to give their all, I have never been a player with the greatest talent in the world. I grew up in the Tajonar academy, we learned strong values, and we know that the management of frustration, expectations and environments, with brutal pressure... I have seen many colleagues who fall by the wayside and they were very good. The biggest piece of advice is not to waste any day."
