Atletico Madrid coach Simeone: Las Palmas is gone; it's now Celtic

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says they've had time to regroup ahead of their Champions League clash with Celtic.

Atletico host Celtic tomorrow night after Friday's shock defeat to Las Palmas.

Simeone said, "We have to face the game with the intention it deserves. It is in our stadium, we expect great support from our people.

"The team has a rival coming off a good start and we want to live up to what the game demands.

" A clean sheet is important in any match. In almost all Champions League matches there are goals, there are good footballers, good play, good forwards. Our strength has always been to start with a clean sheet and from there grow as a team. We will not change, we continue trying to keep the game at that point for as long as possible and then try to hurt the opponent.

"We have four days of recovery. An extraordinary match is coming, there will be a lot of people in our stadium and we are looking forward to having a great match and obviously correcting what happened more in the match against Celtic than in Las Palmas and focusing on what we have to do, which is Celtic."
