Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says he'll happily welcome Tottenham fullback Sergio Reguilon.

The Spain international will join Atletico in a straight loan.

Asked about Reguilon's Real Madrid background, Simeone said: “Juanfran had also played for Real Madrid, but with Filipe Luis he is part of the club's history.

"Ditto (Alvaro) Morata, who is doing extraordinarily well, or (Mario) Hermoso who has given so much.

"I could also tell you Llorente… I only see them as soccer players."
