Atletico Madrid are close to wrapping up a deal for Porto attacker Ricardo Quaresma.

AS says an agreement for the Portugal international could be struck today, with Atletico chief Miguel Angel Gil Marin in Oporto for negotiations.

Gil Marin closed a deal with Villarreal on Saturday in Madrid for striker Diego Forlan before jetting to Portugal for talks with Porto over Quaresma. The winger will sign a four-year deal, with Atletico paying £15 million for his transfer.

Quaresma will arrive as Atletico's fifth summer signing after Forlan, Raul Garcia, Christian Abbiati and Diego Costa.
