Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone was pleased with their 3-1 win over Eibar.
Antoine Griezmann put the visitors ahead after just seven minutes and then two quick-fire goals from Mario Mandzukic midway through the first half put the game beyond the reach of Eibar.
The hosts managed to grab a late consolation goal through Federico Piovaccari.
Simeone remarked: "We played very well from the start. We wanted to attack through Griezmann on the good side of the pitch and to avoid the area where the ball wasn't moving.
"They had their chances to get into the game. Moyá's good save prevented that. It's a difficult stadium to come to and it wasn't easy to play. We knew very well what we wanted to do and it worked out well. Here you have to be very on the ball. We are happy with the way those who don't play as much performed: Saúl, Gámez and Cani."
