Atletico Madrid winger Simao Sabrosa has again spoken of his on-off move to Liverpool.
"There was a lot of talk about the possibility of playing in England, but in the end it resulted in nothing and so it passed," said Simao. "I stayed with Benfica.
"But that is the past and what I care about now is the Atletico club which is also a big one and I want to achieve great things here."
On playing at Anfield tonight, Simao added: "It is clear that this is a special stadium. Everyone knows the mystique that Anfield has but, above all, we want to win.
"It would be a very important victory for Atletico, because we'd practically be into the knockout round. We are having a great campaign and we want to continue on the same line."
