Athletic Bilbao defender Fernando Amorebieta hasn't completely ruled out playing for Venezuela.

Though a Spain youth international, Amorebieta is Venezuelan born and has been sounded out by their FA about committing to the nation of his birth.

"There is nothing definite," explained Amorebieta. "For the sake of the club and coach my final decision has been to not go right now, because it is not the best thing for the club.

"There would be many trips and, for now, this is a subject that has been parked."
