Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde was left satisfied with their 0-0 draw with Real Mallorca.
Valverde admits Mallorca pushed them all the way.
"We could've won and we did everything to do so," Valverde said post-match. "Our intention was to get the three points. We came close, but it's difficult when you're playing against a team that defends with lots of players in their box.
"I think we were better, but we needed to be a bit more clinical."
He continued: "Mallorca are always tough to face and we have to give them credit for that. We lacked a bit of clarity in the final third but at the same time we were able to contain them too. In general it was a very hard-fought match."
