Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton is delighted to be part of the senior squad in Ireland.
The Tamworth-born winger was Villa's star man in Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Bohemians, with a lively performance down the flanks as well as providing an assist for John Carew.
He told Villa's website: "There is a great team spirit amongst the players and to come away to Dublin for a few days has been beautiful.
"The training has been tough but everyone has got down and got on with it and I think we've got great fitness from the 90 minutes against Bohemians and I think we'll take that into the season and keep pushing on in pre-season."
