Aston Villa have made a decision about the future of a young player on their books.
The Midlands club are prepared to offer young talent Rory Wilson a new long-term contract.
The forward has been hugely impressive at under-18s level, scoring 15 goals in 20 games.
Per Fabrizio Romano, Wilson is in line for a new five-year contract to continue his development.
Academy Manager Mark Harrison previously said: "We have all been really pleased with his development since he has joined us, which has now seen him involved in the Under-21s on a regular basis.
"Rory has continued to score goals at all levels since he joined us in the summer, and we look forward to watching him develop over the coming years."
