Aston Villa are interested in Villarreal attacker Alex Baena.

Baena is a target for Barcelona, but the Catalans' financial concerns mean any deal may need to wait until June.

Instead, AS says Villa could move for Baena in January, where both manager Unai Emery and sports chief Monchi are fans.

Emery worked with Baena at Villarreal.

And Monchi believes they can do business with the Yellow Submarine for around £30-35m.
