Aston Villa goalscorer Torres frustrated with Wolves point

Aston Villa centre back Pau Torres wasn't content with a draw against Wolves in the Premier League.

The two Midlands clubs played out an intense derby on Sunday, with Torres scoring for Villa.

However, the tall defender was hoping that his team would pick up all three points, especially as Wolves were down to ten men for the last phase of the game.

Post-game, Torres said on VillaTV: "I feel the supporters very close to us in that area. It was the goal for the draw so I was really happy, but at the end we wanted to win. We tried all the ways in the last minute, we wanted it.

“The first half we didn't feel very comfortable. Only in the last 20 minutes we were in good structure and in good positions. We spoke in the dressing room at half time. I think in the second we were better. Unai told us the things we need to correct and I think we played a good second half.

“The team tried all the ways [to score]. With Ollie in the last action, with Nicolo, Ezri. We really tried and we aren't happy with the point, it's only one point. We are not happy and we wanted the three points. We will come back stronger.

“This last four games we have 10 points of 12, I think it's very good. We have a good structure and confident with every teammate, this is the way. Now there is an international break and we will come back stronger."
