Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez has taken aim at PSG striker Kylian Mbappe ahead of today's World Cup final.
This afternoon, France is facing Argentina in the World Cup final with comments made by Mbappe pre-tournament still a source of anger for South Americans.
"In South America, football is not as advanced as in Europe. That is why European teams always win the World Cup," stated Mbappe earlier this year.
In response, Martinez said: "He doesn't know enough about football, he hasn't played in South America.
"If you do not have that experience, do not post such comments. But it doesn't matter. They know that we are a world class team and they respect us."
