Aston Villa captain John McGinn says Scotland's friendly defeat to Holland wasn't good enough.

The Oranje thrashed Scotland 4-0 on Friday.

He told Viaplay: "Overall, I think we will look back on the game and take a lot with us, but it is clear that the result is embarrassing.

"When you have good periods in matches like we did, we had the chances to come back.

"You can say that you have played well and had chances, but we have to be more cynical and close the shop at the back when it becomes 2-0."
