Aston Villa boss Sherwood: People can judge me at the end of next season

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood was has urged the fans to reserve their verdict on him until the end of next season.

Since taking over at Villa from Paul Lambert during the latter part of last season, Sherwood has certainly managed to make a good impression after guiding the Villans safely away from the relegation zone as well as into the final of the FA Cup.

However, Sherwood feels he has not proven himself yet and has urged the fans to judge him only at the end of next campaign.

"My aim all along was to get to the start of the season and then that gives me an opportunity to show what I can do," said Sherwood.

"People can really judge me at the end of next season because I can work with these players and make them better."
