The 34-year-old, on loan at Stoke City this season, sees his Blues contract run out in June and so will need to find a new club.
He said, "There have been no conversations yet," he is quoted by the Mail .
"I'll sort to my own future at the end of the season. It is like any other summer where you have to make decisions.
"I'm in a position now where I'm out of contract and I've been on loan at Stoke, we'll have to decide what I'm going to do.
"I think it would be a little bit disrespectful, in my opinion, to Stoke, to start looking into that before the loan that we agreed was up.
"I'll finish the season then see where we are at."
