Ashley Fletcher opens account, Noble on target but West Ham held by Slovacko

West Ham United recruit Ashley Fletcher opened his scoring account for the Hammers in their 2-2 friendly draw with Czech side Slovacko on Tuesday.

Skipper Mark Noble scored the first goal of the game to give his side a half-time lead of 1-0 before Fletcher, a £700,000 signing from Manchester United, doubled the lead for his side in the second half after only seven minutes on the pitch.

The 20-year-old, who was a half-time substitute, headed the ball into the net from the cross of another summer arrival, Domingos Quina.

Slaven Bilic's side looked set to open their pre-season tour of Austria with a win, but they were pegged back by two late goals from the Czech Republic First League side
