Arsenal youngster Saka set to be dropped for England blockbuster

England boss Gareth Southgate is set to recall Mason Mount into the team in place of Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka.

The young winger started in the final group game against Czech Republic on the right flank, earning praise for his performance from all corners.

But as the Three Lions take on Germany in the round of 16 at Wembley on Tuesday, Southgate is going with someone he trusts.

Mount, whose period of COVID-19 protocol-related self isolation ends on the day of the game, could go straight into the starting lineup.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City star Phil Foden is another who could go straight back into the team after no involvement against the Czechs.

England are still deciding between sticking with a back four or matching the Germans by playing three centre-backs.
