Arsenal wish Afobe all the best for Wolves move

Arsenal have wished Benik Afobe good luck after he completed a permanent transfer to Wolves.

The 21-year old striker has had his loan spell with MK Dons cut short in order to make the move to the Molineux after coming through Arsenal's youth academy.

Afobe was sent to Milton Keynes on a season-long loan in the summer but after scoring 19 goals in 30 appearances has moved to Wolves on a permanent basis which prompted a Twitter post from the Gunners.

Additionally, Afobe sent a message of gratitude to both Arsenal and MK Dons for helping him develop into the player he is today.

Afobe failed to make a senior appearance during his time at Arsenal but enjoyed loan stints with Huddersfield Town, Bolton, Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall, Reading and of course MK.
