Premier League table toppers Arsenal are set to make a final attempt to snap up Youri Tielemans in the winter transfer window.
The Belgian, who has six months remaining on his Leicester City contract, was wanted by Arsenal in the summer.
However, they did not meet Leicester's asking price, and will be hoping the Foxes bring down that fee given Tielemans can leave on a free when the season concludes.
The Mirror states that Arsenal will put in a bid they believe is satisfactory to complete the transfer.
However, other clubs may be interested, while Tielemans himself may want to wait until the summer.
Moving as a free agent would likely give him the best chance of securing a higher wage in what could be the last big contract of his career.
