Arsenal will turn their attention to Riyad Mahrez following their successful pursuit of Jamie Vardy.

According to The Sun, the Gunners are going about breaking up the Foxes' Premier League title-winning squad by launching a pursuit for star winger Mahrez.

It is understood that Leicester striker Vardy underwent a medical with Arsenal on Sunday after the North London club activated his £20million buyout clause and a deal is expected to go through soon.

And now Arsene Wenger will make a serious move for Mahrez which is likely to spell the end for Theo Walcott at the Emirates Stadium with the 27-year-old set to join West Ham United.

The release clause of Algeria international Mahrez is well within Arsenal's sights and it is believed that an offer will be made in the coming weeks.
