Arsenal have triggered a 12 month option in Bukayo Saka's contract.

The Daily Mail says Arsenal have enacted the option to secure the England midfielder to 2024.

Negotiations over a new, long-term arrangement with Saka's minders are continuing.

However, by triggering the option, Arsenal have given themselves room in talks over a longer agreement.

Saka was again outstanding in Arsenal's victory over Brighton on Saturday.
